080A Error

Engine overheating.

Excessive engine temperature. The temperature sensor has detected a temperature above the danger threshold.

Stop for a few minutes and wait for the internal temperature to drop below the preset levels.

IMPORTANT: DO NOT SWITCH OFF THE ENGINE  at this juncture, the shutdown may cause functional blocks that can only be restored at our service center; if, on the other hand, the system is not shut down, the block is only temporary and the engine will NOT be damaged.

To remedy this error make sure to

• do not ride long distances on steep climbs with very high assistance levels (4 or 5).
• maintain a pedaling cadence above 50RPM (revolutions per minute).

If it occurs frequently, request assistance.
